Tuesday-Wednesday 3-4 July 2012, 9.30am to 5pm

The course

Study the theory and practice of traditional lime plasters.  A two-day course, which covers the fundamentals of lime plastering from the simplest renders to the finest ornamental work.

Each day will consist of lectures illustrated by case studies, interspersed with practical demonstrations and hands on experience of the materials.  There will be time for discussion throughout, when debate on this sometimes misunderstood subject will be encouraged.
Day one will be predominantly plasters and day two will focus on renders.

For those who wish to gain hands-on experience, Practical Lime Plastering takes place the following day, on Thursday 30 June 2011.
