House from Walderton, Sussex

Constructed of flint and brick, this building appears externally to be of 17th-century date. In fact it contains the remains of a medieval timber-framed building with an open hall. The living room at the east end of the building has been furnished in 17th-century style. The middle room of the house has been designed to show the transition from a medieval to a 17th-century dwelling.
