Building from Lavant, Sussex

This brick building has been re-erected with the external walls restored to their original form, but the interior is entirely modern. It is a good example of the regional style of early 17th-century brickwork, including windows with mullions of moulded brick. The original design of the interior was completely destroyed in a fire in the late 18th century, but the building's original use was possibly an upper meeting hall with store rooms or work rooms below.  It now houses a lively Education Room for school and youth groups.
