Lowering the Gridshell

March 2001  - The Process begins.....

At 12.30 pm on March 2nd 2001 the great descent begins as 
Diana Zeuner lowers the first jack by 40mm.

19th March 2001

Two weeks on and the edges of the gridmat have been lowered by up to three metres and the characteristic curved shape is beginning to appear.
